ABOUT Dr. Peter Pham

Dr. Peter Pham is a board-certified eye surgeon, or physician ophthalmologist, who enjoys seeing patients of every age group, from children to grandparents. He is the Chief of Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital at the Vintage and received his training at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country. He completed his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine (one of the top 5 ranked medical schools according to US News & World (Reports) and graduated summa cum laude as an undergraduate with a major in chemistry from the same institution. During college and medical school, Dr. Pham pursued his research interest in the complex field of amoeboid locomotion and developed a novel system to introduce large molecules into live cells. Afterwards, Dr. Pham trained at Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles and during this period, he and a colleague developed an online platform for visual field screening to help detect and monitor for changes associated with glaucoma and macular degeneration, which can be accessed at www.keepyoursight.org.
